Our fave 'On the Go" #refreshing Teas perfect for Summer

In Queensland, we have well & truly hit the hottest month's of the year... Summer **insert sweat marks here** #gross!

We have just come back from a week in Noosa & these 'On the Go' Tea's were just perfection for the beach and wandering Hasting's Street. The iconic spot that we staying needed style so I took along my fave #fressko flask for effect (yup I just said it). 

Here are some of my favourite Tea's perfect for when you are 'On the Go':

#1 - Lemon Basil Iced Tea 

What you'll need: 

  • 1/2 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 6 fresh basil leaves
  • 2 green tea bags
  • 3 cups hot water
  • raw honey, optional

Now what?:

  1. Add the lemon slices, fresh basil leaves, and green tea bags to your jar or Fressko flask
  2. Pour hot water into the container, and allow to steep for 15 minutes. Then, remove the tea bags.
  3. Place into the fridge to completely chill for 3-4 hours for the flavors to release.

#2 - Coconut Lime Iced Tea 

What you'll need: 

  • 2 black tea bags
  • 1/2 lime, thinly sliced
  • 3 cups coconut water, heated
  • raw honey, optional

Now what?:

  1. Add the black tea bags and sliced lime to your jar or Fressko flask.
  2. Pour heated coconut water into the jar, and allow to steep for 15 minutes. Then, remove the tea bags.
  3. Place into the fridge to completely chill for 3-4 hours for the flavours to release.

#3 - Iced Peach Ginger Tea 

  • 1 peach, pitted and sliced
  • 2 green tea bags
  • 4 ginger coins
  • 3 cups hot water
  • raw honey, optional

Now what?:

  1. Add the sliced peach and green tea bags to your jar or Fressko flask.
  2. Skewer the sliced ginger coins on a toothpick, if desired, to make them easier to remove later, and then add them to the flask.
  3. Pour the hot water into the flask, and allow to steep for 15 minutes. Then, remove the tea bags.
  4. Place into the fridge to completely chill for 3-4 hours for the flavours to release.

#3 - Strawberry Iced Tea << My personal fave #pictured 

  • 2 Cups of boiling water
  • 2 Cups of cold water
  • 2 Cups ice
  • 4 teabags Earl Gray or Black tea
  • 2 1/2 Cups sliced strawberries
  • 1 lime or lemon
  • Sweetener

Now what?: 

  1. Steep teabags in 2 cups of boiling water.
  2. Add sliced strawberries, juice of 1 lime or lemon, about a pinch of sweetener and using a masher press the strawberries to release some of the juice.
  3. Pour the steeped tea and strawberries into a jar, then add iced water. Stir until well combined. Taste and add more sugar if needed.
  4. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
